This is my first ever published puzzle !
Therefore, I wanted to create something approchable but original involving squared digits. It is definitely possible to do a more intricate puzzle with this, and I certainly have started to make some interesting drafts... Consider this a first approach that may get a sequel if appreciated :)
A special thanks to KNT for providing such good advice on how to approach setting.
Rules :
- Normal sudoku rules apply.
- Arrows : Digits/numbers along an arrow sum to the digit/number in that arrow's circle.
- Squares : Nine cells in the grid (one per row, column and box) are squares, which count as the square of their value on arrows. For example, a squared 9 will count as 81 if it's on an arrow.
Each digit is squared once in the grid.
Additionally, there can't be 2 squares in the same relative position in 2 boxes. For example, if R1C1 contains a squared digit, there can't be any square in R1C4, R1C7, R4C1...

I think it shouldn't be too difficult, probably between 2 or 3/5 depending on the solver.
Enjoy ! And consider giving feedback if you like the puzzle !
Solution code: Row 1 and column 1 (18 digits, no space)
