Thermollominologically (Fillomino/Thermo)

(Published on 12. January 2023, 00:00 by dumediat)

This is the puzzle that I created as a gift for zetamath's birthday this year, which they encouraged me to share here for you all to solve! Ratings, comments, and feedback are much appreciated! Please feel free to reach out to me on Discord if you have any comments or questions. Please also feel free to try my other puzzles here.

Rules:

  • Fillomino: Divide the grid into regions, so that no two orthogonally adjacent regions have the same size. In each cell, insert the size of the region containing it, which may not exceed 9.
  • Thermo: Digits along thermometers must strictly increase from the bulb end.

Fun puzzle, thanks!

I agree with KNT that it was very good that you put the restriction on the region size in bold to make it clear that it deviates from normal Fillomino.
>>dumediat: You are welcome, I suppose the next challenge is to come up with one that does not require the extra rule! :)
