Doublophobia

(Published on 7. January 2023, 08:38 by lepton)

This is my third puzzle that combines doublers and colouring. Colouring 8 cell cages may feel a bit scary at first, but maybe it's the doubler math that you should be worried about.

Rules

Normal sudoku rules apply: Every row, column and 3x3 box contains digits 1-9.

Anti-Knight: Cells a chess knight's move apart cannot contain the same digit.

Killer: Digits in a cage cannot repeat and must sum to the total in the top left corner.

Doublers: One cell in every row, column, and box is a doubler cell, which doubles its value in cage totals. Doublers cannot appear a chess knight's move apart from each other. Every digit 1-9 is doubled exactly once.
