40 or 40? (Kropki Pairs/X-sums/Modified Sandwich/Ambiguity)

This is the puzzle that I created for thetiredsaint's 40th birthday, which they encouraged me to share here for you all to solve! Ratings, comments, and feedback are much appreciated! Rules:
- Normal sudoku rules apply.
- Kropki pairs: Digits separated by a white dot are consecutive, and digits separated by a black dot have a 1:2 ratio. Not all dots are given.
- Clues outside the grid represent either Sandwich or X-sums clues; standard rules apply for each, except for Sandwich clues the sums include the 1 and the 9. The solver must determine which constraint applies to each clue.

Very nice! Surprisingly, this ruleset just clicked for me, and flowed like water from start to finish. A specific deduction in a specific box was quite beautiful as well ;)
