Chaotic Caverns
My second CC. I was playing around with the idea that a cell value could specify the total number of cells visible by line-of-sight up to region borders, and a tester pointed out that these are "cave" rules - but, to be clear, this is not a cave puzzle. References to "cave" rules, mean line-of-sight within a region, only!
Rules
Summary: Chaos Construction / snake, Cave logic (negative constraint), Killer.
- The digits 1 to 9 must appear once in every row, column, and region. Regions are to be determined by the solver, and must be a set of nine orthogonally connected cells.
- Each region is a 9x1 snake that does not branch, and does not touch itself orthogonally.
- Marked cells show valid cave clues within a region:
- The number in the cell is the total number of cells (including itself) that are within clear line-of-sight to a region border.
- Clues of the same color/letter are in the same region.
- Cave clues can 'see' past other cave clues.
- All cave clues are given.
- Killer cages: Digits cannot repeat within a cage, and must sum to the total given in the top-left corner.

A very pleasant solve. The small negative constraint was nice and helpful :)
