Nicely designed puzzle! I would agree with the other solvers that the 5/5 stars for the difficulty is a little bit too much for this puzzle.
-----
Appreciate the kind words and solve. As far as difficulty, it was hard to decide between 4 and 5, but once it's rated, my estimation gets thrown out the window. I think I did start it off at 5, but I could easily see this being a 4-star puzzle.

Great puzzle! Awesome interaction between different color groups.
Also, it wasn't this hard - 5/5 for the difficulty is an exaggeration.
-----
Appreciate the kind words and solve. As far as the difficulty, it is pretty hard to gauge as some solvers are very accustomed to global entropy, while it is still a novelty to others.

Amazing variation on the entropy rule. Had to use two sets of 3-colours to begin with, also some letters, and then midway thru the solve some sudoku also comes into play! A very joyful ride. Thanks for sharing this, @ XeonRisq :)
-----
Glad you enjoyed this crazy ride, and really appreciate the kind words and solve!

Thanks Agent.. Glad you enjoyed the puzzle, especially the ending.

Fantastic puzzle, but I think it's only 3 stars to me
-----
Thanks for the feedback/solve. As far as difficulty, this one was a little hard to judge and really hinges on a solver's familiarity with the global entropy constraint. Some see it quite easily, for others, it's a bit tougher.

Fantastic. Started with 3 groups of 3 colors; whittled down to 1 through combination; colored the entire grid into groups with the exception of a few squares, then used sudoku and kropki to wind my way out!
-----
Well done!! And that is definitely a fun path through the puzzle. Thanks for the compliment and the solve.

Very nice puzzle! Fun solve. Had to reset it multiple times due to my inability to read the rules! Thought it was normal 123-456-789. Fun and creative variation to the variation.
I'm new to the community, so if this is too much of a spoiler, please let me know, and I'll edit the comment.
Is it possible to solve all entropy cells without looking at the numbers? I had to use the numbers at some point.
-----
No need to edit your comment, your question is not asking for too much. I have seen the puzzle solved completing the entropy first and by resolving digits partway through completing the entropy so both paths are open to the solver's discretion.
I do appreciate the solve and feedback, though I do agree that it is imperative to be clear on the rules with the twist in this one.

A small clarification. As I see it, a 12 pair on a dot can follow either of the same or different entropy rule. Correct?
-----
At the start of the puzzle, that is correct, but the pair will be invalid on one color of the dots in a finished grid due to the ruleset.

Brilliant puzzle! For sure one the most satisfying solves I have encountered. Great job :)
-----
Thanks! Appreciate the compliments and solve, glad you found the puzzle rewarding..

I can't believe it: I solved the puzzle without any resets! Lots of work with this one, and of course a lot of it was without knowing what the entropy groups were. Thanks for the work you put into making this!
-----
Congrats and very nicely done!! And it was quite the journey from start to finish before this one was complete. So I appreciate the acknowledgement, as well as the kind words and solve.

The creativity of setters on this site never ceases to amaze me, how you came up with this idea and executed on it so brilliantly is beyond me. My brain hurts now, I'm going to go take a break from puzzles for the evening.
Thank you so much for taking your time to set this for us!
-----
Thank you for the kind words and solve. You are quite welcome and I am happy you enjoyed the puzzle.

Simply stunning. I'm proud I stuck with it even though I ran into quite a few tough spots along the way. But one small deduction at a time, and eventually things fell in place. Loved the challenge.
Thanks for setting and sharing this wonderful sudoku with us!!
-----
You're very welcome, and glad you were able to persevere and solve the puzzle anyway. Appreciate the compliments and giving the puzzle a try!

Very nice indeed - I enjoyed testing this one - it's a very cool construction.
-----
Always appreciate your in-depth testing, it proves to be crucial to the polishing of many puzzles in Skunkworks. Thanks for the kind words and solve.

Very well executed! Enjoyed that a lot.
I especially like that without given sets of digits for the three groups the puzzle is more focused on the subdivision of the grid which is the logic I particularly love about the entropy constraint.
It's an intermediate step between the original entropy constraint and rulesets where all digits are allowed to appear freely in all three groups, which I started to explore with the puzzle "Entropy Evolution".
I think there is a lot more fascinating logic to discover.
-----
I thought you'd particularly like this one and I knew you'd appreciate the solve path that was to be taken. Your initial work on this constraint, as well as crucial information from Raumplaner, helped in the construction of this puzzle. Really grateful for the detailed feedback and glad you enjoyed this one.
