Save Santa's Team

This was a little cute idea inspired by some puzzles I saw on gmpuzzles by Serkan Yürekli from many years ago.

Santa's team of reindeer have hit an icy patch and they are scattered in the snowbanks. Can you help dig them out and link them back up with Santa?

Secret Word Clue:"Reason for Happy Ho_idays!"

Word Connection Rules: Place the words into the grid (one capital letter per cell) so that they do not touch each other, not even diagonally, and so that they can be read in a straight line in a vertical or horizontal direction. Some letters in the words are already given in the grid. Then find a path that passes through every cell of the grid, starting with the first letter of the first word in SANTAS, passing through the words in order from their first letters to their last letters, and ending at the last letter of CHET.

Some cells are shaded blue denoting ice. The path must continue straight on ice patches. The path must never cross itself, even on ice.

Additionally, There are four (4) extra letters given in the grid that must be passed through along the path in a proper order to spell out the secret word. These four letters will be alone in the grid (no other letters will be in the [up to 8] cells surrounding the letter)

An example puzzle (with no ice) is also shown beside the main puzzle and is playable at the link below.
