Hansel or Gretel
A German Whisper / Ambiguous Killer / Clone Sudoku
This puzzle was created for Zetamath's 100th stream as a snack-sized puzzle to relax between the more difficult ones others made.
Rules:
- Standard Sudoku rules apply
- Along the green line, adjacent digits must differ by at least five.
- The two grey regions are clones. Digits appearing in one such region must appear in the same position in the other.
- The sum of the digits in each given cage total to '100' where the number base (radix) of that total is to be determined by the solver. For example, if the radix were 2 (binary) then the total would be 4; a radix of 5 would mean a total of 25, etc.
