Sudokutown Interchange--Explore the Genre
(Published on 21. December 2022, 15:42 by AstralSky)
Welcome to the exploration guide section before taking the subway interchanges!.
- Main Rules:Each numbered box is a Subway Station. The subway travels from station 1 to station 8, with digits 1-9 being the potential passengers. In each Station EXACTLY one digit gets off the subway and EXACTLY one digit enters the subway, the entered digit will not take off right away at the next station.
- Additionally, digits with any row/column/box must not repeat. Digit`s within a King`s move(in chess) cannot contain the same digit.
- In other words, every box contains 6 digits from 1-9, and any two boxes whose box number are consecutive must contain exactly 5 different common digits.
- CTC Link:Given 9s are in form of killer cages since F-puzzles dont allow that to be put in.

Side notes:
This genre should be more fun when combined with Arithmetic constraints, but I find that without finding some untold, intrinsic characteristics of this genre, some steps might be too difficult to think of. So as the title suggest, this puzzle should serve to explore this genre.
Solution code: Column 1 and Column 2

I think the rules on CTC are missing the Anti-King constraint! Apart from that: amazing ruleset, took me two atempts to get into it.

Pretty tricky for its size, I almost broke it twice before realizing some implications. Pretty neat, although a bigger version might be too much of a headache :D
