Rules:
Normal Sudoku rules apply. A black circle joins digits in a 1:2 ratio and a white circle joins consecutive digits. A black square joins cages whose sums are in a 1:2 ratio and a white square joins cages whose sums are consecutive. Not all circles or squares are necessarily given.
A cage is a collection of orthogonally connected cells with no repeated digits, and cages are to be determined. A clue in the top-left corner of a cell gives the sum of the digits in that cell’s cage. Cages may not overlap, not all cells necessarily belong to a cage, and a cage may contain zero, one, or more than one clue.
Solve:
Solution code: Rows 8 and 9 (left to right, 18 digits, no spaces)

Did it! Thanks for the help :) other than getting stuck (which was my fault) this was a really great puzzle!

@kjholt:
The lower quarter to the right (from fith line downwards) has a couple of mistakes in it. Your value for the yellow cage can't be true, because of the black square to the right...

I keep getting so far in this puzzle and then hitting a point where I have no idea where I went wrong but no options work. I even restarted and hit the same wall. I must be missing something...
