Chaos Fillomino - Border Gaps #1

(Published on 7. December 2022, 10:00 by Mark Sweep)

Although the ruleset for this puzzle is quite simple, it may take a bit to understand what it means for certain clues. Hopefully this is good enough of a warm-up for a harder puzzle soon. Enjoy!

Rules
Standard Fillomino rules apply. Arrows indicate the distance between the first two borders seen in that direction (the grid border also counts for this). If there are multiple arrows in a cell, the number in the cell applies to each arrow individually.

Fillomino rules
Divide the grid in regions, such that no two regions of the same size touch orthogonally. Each cell contains a number that indicates the size of the polyomino it is in.

Maybe not the wisest of decisions to start with #2, but this was smooth sailing and great fun. Thanks mark!

Very nice puzzle, great idea! I struggled a lot more in the later part of the solve, but this is likely because I missed a deduction in row 1 for the longest time.
