Fill the grid such that each row, column, and orthogonally-connected 9-cell region contains the digits 1-9 once each. The regions must be deduced by the solver, but some region borders have been given.
Regional X-sums: Clues outside the grid give the sum of the first N digits in that row or column, where N is the closest digit to the clue. In addition, N is also the number of distinct regions in that row or column.
Solve online:
Solution code: The digits and region borders in row 6, using - to delimit a border. (Ignore the grid borders for this code, just include interior region borders.)

Really fun and fabulous puzzle! This actually flowed much better once I realized that I should treat this one as "two mini parts" of the puzzle x)

Enjoyed that a great deal. Kind of new to chaos construction so well pleased to get through it. Thanks

Great fun ! That was surprisingly a super fast solve in the last sequence. I was expecting the region configuration to take more convoluted ways, but the way the irregular sudoku intervened and made it easier is quite remarkable and differs from a lot of the CCs I have solved before.

Solved it, and had a lot of fun. But on the flip side , I'm apparently too dumb to understand the instruction for solution code. Anyways, why so overly complicated and not just say "Row 6" or something like that?

One of the funnest sudokus I have done in a while. It was challenging but never too difficult and it had a wonderful flow. Thanks!

Despite committing a big Chaos Construction sin, this puzzle is still enjoyable and approachable :)
