Parity Party XXV, "Gray's Anatomy"

(Published on 29. December 2022, 03:46 by glum_hippo)

Normal Sudoku rules apply.

Clues outside the grid are both Parity Party (PP) and Full Rank (FR) clues.

PP clues give the sum of the digits from that vantage point, up to and including the first odd digit, or up to and including the first even digit. In the case of a clue smaller than 10, the clue could simply equal the first-seen digit (i.e., the sum of zero evens and one odd, or vice versa).

Consider the 9 rows and columns, read in either direction, as 36 9-digit numbers. FR clues indicate the rank of the corresponding row/column in a sorted list of those numbers.

The 'E' means that the PP value and the FR value must be the same even number. A '?' can stand for any positive integer.

What a beast! I emerge beaten and bruised, but a better man because of it. A most impressive construction, being able to give only three-ish actual values.

— Thanks for solving it, dear friend!

Utterly monstrous, but full of exhilarating moments while whittling away and hunting for the next breakthrough. These harder PP puzzles are so incredibly intricate, and always challenge me to use my working memory creatively. Great puzzle.

—Thank you for solving it, dear Pixy. I appreciate the comment

Quite a struggle at first, after which it stays a struggle, but was definitely a very immersive, complex puzzle with very specific deductions. Staggering setting!

Thank you for that very kind compliment! Full Rank can be pretty daunting, so I’m grateful that you persevered!
