After tinkering around with some ideas, I found that overlapping cages create some opportunities for some interesting logic along with the other parts of the puzzle.
- Normal sudoku rules apply.
- Numbers cannot repeat in a cage and must sum to the given total in the top left corner, if given.
- A dot between two cells has one of four colors. The color represents one of the following four constraints: white kropki, black kropki, X, or V.
- White kropki - cells must be consecutive.
- Black kropki - cells must be in a 1:2 ratio.
- X clue - cells must sum to 10.
- V clue - cells must sum to 5.
- Which color represents which constraint must be determined by the solver.

Very nice puzzle, felt quite hard for me to break into, but once I got going it was smooth going.

Thanks for the compliments. The puzzle has a few ways to get going, but I do agree that how ever you get in, it gets a lot easier once it starts moving.

I always like having more candy! Especially if it's inspired after me!
Lovely puzzle, was straightforward for me as I examined these patterns thoroughly while setting, but still pretty fun :)
