RULES
Chaos Construction: Divide the grid into nine orthogonally connected 9-cell large non-overlapping regions. Place the digits 1-9 once each in every row, column, and region.
Second Region X-Sums: Clues outside the grid indicate that the second region segment seen from that side contains X digits where X is the first digit seen from that side. The clue itself is equal to the sum of the digits in the second region segment.
Kropki: Digits in cells separated by a white dot must be consecutive.
This is a 6x6 example to help illustrate the rules.
For instance, the 15 clue in row 3 indicates that X is the first digit seen in that row from that side (X = 4) and that the second region segment contains X digits that add to a value equal to the given clue (3 + 5 + 1 + 6 = 15).
I appreciate solves, comments, and suggestions
Solve the puzzle at Penpa+ with answer check. To trigger the answer check you must fill all the digits and delineate the region borders using green edges.
Solution code: Row 5 (left to right) using dashes ‘-’ for region borders. It should be something like 123-4-567-89.

Wonderful! Extremely smooth well designed path, with every piece of information showing up just when you need it. Surprisingly approachable for a ruleset that at first sight seems daunting. Well done!
