Normal sudoku rules apply.

Any cell in the grid that is larger than ALL its orthogonally connected neighbors is a Summit cell. Clues outside the grid and in the corner of cages give the sum of the Summit cells in that row, column, or cage. Digits may repeat in cages if otherwise allowed.

Clues outside the grid are also sandwich sums, giving the sum of the digits between the 1 and 9 in that row or column.

The clue values for columns 7 and 9 must be deduced.

Very nice puzzle. Got confused by the wording of the rules. Deduced that it could not be done for same value for both columns 7 and 9. Good that it has been disambiguated.

Reworded rules slightly to address possible confusion per @marcmees feedback.

I got a bit confused about the wording - the same unknown value - thinking it would be the same value for both ?. Otherwise very nice puzzle with a minimalistic application of the rules. thanks.
