Normal sudoku rules apply.
The line is an equal sums line, meaning that digits on the line have an equal sum, N, within each box through which it passes.
Black dots are Kropki dots, i.e. digits either side of the dot are in a ratio of 1:2.
There are nine 'quintupler' cells in the grid, coloured red. They contain the digits 1-9 exactly once each, and occupy exactly one position in each row, column and 3x3 box. For the purpose of any arithmetic calculations, digits in quintupler cells count as five times the digit's value.

If you find yourself with almost the entire grid filled in but a deadly pattern right at the end, it's likely you'll need to double check that the digits around Rudolph's eyes are in a 1:2 ratio, and not, for example, in a 5:2 ratio...!

I had to unwind a couple of times and it took me three hours but I did it. I feel a little bamboozled but in hindsight I just needed to be more careful from the outset. Excellent puzzle, a wonderful gift for Christmas.

@peacherwu2 - sorry I replied to your comment then accidentally overwrote it rather than adding another!
The solution code is a 10-digit string (e.g. 1234567891), which is the far left column, top to bottom, followed by the digit in Rudolph's nose. If you've solved it correctly, you should know what I mean by that!
