Ring Ring #1

(Published on 29. October 2022, 23:35 by PrimeWeasel)

Fill the empty cells of the grid by drawing rectangles that consist of horizontal and vertical lines between cell centers. The sides of different rectangles may intersect but cannot overlap. Rectangles can’t touch otherwise; in particular, they can’t touch by a corner.

Solution code: For every row, count the amount of cells where two lines cross, resulting in 10 digits, use a 0 when no lines cross in a row.

lovely new stuff at intro level. Thanks. What's coming up next ?

~ Thanks marc! #2 will be up next! (Haha) The real answer here is that I was exploring combining Ring Ring with Sandwich because Piatato asked me if such a thing would work, and I somehow ended up with this grid and thought it made for quite a nice Ring Ring, whereas the Ring Ring with sandwich isn't working out at all (yet). Could be that I try making a harder and bigger regular Ring Ring, but they're quite tough to make interesting.
