(Published on 26. October 2022, 18:35 by JayForty)

I wanted to follow up with an easier puzzle while working on my next one, so I dug this one up from the pile of drafts. An exploration of Sandwich and Kropki combinations, hope you enjoy!

Normal Sudoku, Sandwich and Kropki rules apply

  • A clue outside the grid shows the sum of the digits sandwiched between 1 and 9 in that row or column.
  • Cells separated by a white dot contain consecutive digits.
  • Cells separated by a black dot contain digits in a 2:1 ratio.

I was looking for a puzzle that would demonstrate some of the interactions available with the sandwich variant, and this did the job nicely. The kropki sprinkles were used very cleverly too. Lovely puzzle, thanks!
