XV = X-ray Vision

- Normal Sudoku rules apply.
- XV: Digits joined by an X sum to 10. Digits joined by a V sum to 5. All X and V are given. NEGATIVE CONSTRAINT: Digits that are NOT joined by a V or an X do not sum to either 5 or 10.
- Killer cages: Digits in a killer cage do not repeat and sum to the clue in the top left.
- Dots: Digits joined by black dot have a 1:2 ratio. (Not all black dots are given.)
Here you can solve the puzzle online:
Solution code: Row 6 followed by Column 5, from left to right resp. from top to bottom (no space or comma, 18 digits in total)

Damn that was hard for me, had to restart several times. Few times I managed to get the CTC app to report "Look's good as far as I can tell!", but only to find out that solution code was wrong and I had made a logical error with negative constraint... Thanks for making my head spinning :)

Congratulations on the solve and thank you for commenting, snuuba! Unfortunately, the CTC app does not know about the negative constraint (in f-puzzles, the conflict checker should recognize it though). I feel sorry for you and hope you had some fun despite the hiccups.

** Thank you for your comment, chain.reader. I completely agree with your assessment about the difficulty. Although as a setter I find it sometimes hard to estimate because a solution appears much easier once you know it. :)
