Bird of Paradise (Segmented Region Sum Lines)

(Published on 18. October 2022, 01:11 by AnalyticalNinja )

Rules:

Normal sudoku rules apply.

Consider each colored line as consisting of one or more segments. For every line:
- Region boundaries determine segment divisions.
- Each segment must sum to the same total N. Different lines may have different sums.
- Each segment must contain a different constraint from the following:
Renban - a set of consecutive digits in any order.
German Whispers - adjacent digits must differ by at least 5.
Parity - digits must be all even or all odd.
Arrow - the digit at one end of the segment sums the other digits on that segment.
- No segment may satisfy more than one of these constraints.

(example, a segment of 917 would be invalid because it is both a German Whisper and Parity segment.)

Colors have no meaning beyond differentiating the lines.

Here is an example of this Sudoku variant on a 6x6 grid:

This puzzle is playable with F-Puzzles or CTC (SudokuPad).

Really remarkable how each line unfolded its secrets as the solve went on, I did find the parts around box 123 the trickiest but it made for a cool solve later on. Very nice and rewarding puzzle :)
