Normal Sudoku rules apply. Place the digits 1 through 9 in each empty cell. Digits must not repeat within the same row, column, or box. The gray squares are magic squares. The rows, columns, and diagonals in a magic square must all sum to the same totals. Digits may not repeat in a magic square. White cages (read up to down, left to right) are square numbers.

Magic square puzzles are usually pretty trivial, this one actually needs a little thinking (a good thing!)

Neat puzzle! The magic square theme made for a very interesting path, and how the square numbers were used later on was satisfying to see :)

I'm not sure why this hasn't achieved a rating yet. I think it's a fine puzzle that follows its theme admirably.
