Clues outside the grid give the sum of digits along the indicated diagonal.
All such clues in this puzzle have the same value 'x', which is for the solver to determine.
Bifurcation or excessive case-by-case elimination is not necessary.

Fun puzzle. Thanks, @ Jeet Sampat :). (the arrows remind me of the "बड़ा चौराहा" in Kanpur, if you are familiar with it!!)
