Sandwiched Entropy

- Normal Sudoku rules apply.
- Entropy line: Any set of three consecutive digits on the orange line must contain a low (1, 2 or 3), a medium (4, 5 or 6) and a high digit (7, 8 or 9).
- Sandwich: Clues outside the grid indicate the sum of all digits between 3 and 6 in the respective row or column. For example, the row 123456789 would have the sandwich clue 9 as the sum of 4 and 5.
Here you can solve the puzzle online (you may need to disable the conflict checker because of the "non-standard" sandwich clues):
Solution code: Row 2 followed by Column 7, from left to right resp. from top to bottom (no space or comma, 18 digits in total)

Superb interaction between the line and sandwiches, and an interesting variation of the sum available by using the 3 and 6 as "crusts".

As I am fairly new to this site myself, I'm still astonished by the frequency of new great puzzles. If you enjoy variant sudokus, you may have a lot of fun with the puzzles here.
