Rules:

  • Normal Sudoku rules apply.
  • Shade some cells such that all shaded cells and all unshaded cells are orthogonally connected and no 2x2 area may be fully shaded or unshaded.
  • Digits along thermometers must increase from the bulb end.
  • Shaded cells on thermometers contain odd digits and unshaded cells contain even digits.
  • Thermometers have either an equal amount or 1 more of one variety of shaded and unshaded cells.
  • The grey cell is shaded.

You bastard! I enjoyed this puzzle so much that I audibly yelled when I finished it, which caused my dog to run away in fear. So yes I loved your puzzle but I'm blaming you for scaring my dog!

do the branched thermometers count as one big thermometer or two thermometers with the same bulb when counting the shaded/unshaded cell split?
