This is a hybrid between Simple Loop and Sandwich Sudoku.
Enjoy! :-)
Rules:
1) Normal Sudoku rules apply. Every row, column, and box must contain the digits 1-9 with no repeats.
2) Normal sandwich rules apply. Clues outside the grid show the sum of the digits "sandwiched" between 1 and 9 in the corresponding row/column.
3) Draw a loop that travels orthogonally through every cell except the cells that contain the digit 1. The loop is not allowed to branch, intersect or cross itself.
Links to the puzzle:
Solve on Penpa+ here (draw the loop with a green line for answer check to work).
Solve on F-Puzzles here.
Solve on Sudokupad here.
Solution code: All digits in row 6, left to right, plus the length of each individual loop segment in row 6. Cells with vertical segments count as 1.

Clever sudoku and a nice use of sloop! I’m intrigued by the possibilities of sudoku-sloop hybrids!

I'd never done a loop puzzle before, so I solved it as a sandwich without the loop logic until I was left with the 19 pairs (though it took a very long time). But the loop worked beautifully after that.

Thanks for solving it, even on hard mode. :P
