Cursed Quiver (Arrow Deconstruction)

(Published on 6. October 2022, 09:10 by Xendari)

Cursed Quiver
I really loved the setting process of Embrace, but the smaller grid made it difficult to do a whole lot in. This puzzle should be much more exciting, although quite a lot harder. Credit for the ruleset goes to Jay Dyer and her original Deconstruction puzzle. Your feedback is appreciated, and I hope you enjoy Cursed Quiver :)

Rules
Deconstruction: Within the 11x11 grid are nine non-overlapping 3x3 boxes whose position must be deduced by the solver. Digits cannot repeat in any row, column, or 3x3 box. Cells outside of 3x3 boxes are left empty.
Arrow: Digits along an arrow's line that are inside 3x3 boxes must sum to the number in that arrow's circle. Cells along an arrow's line that are outside of a 3x3 box are not arrow cells for the purposes of that arrow's circle (i.e., they can be ignored). Arrow circles that are within a 3x3 box must be made using attached arrow cells at least once. Digits along an arrow can repeat if allowed by other rules.

Very nice logical deductions all around. Thanks for constructing this.

Nice logic around box 5 and 8 (if that makes any sense in a deconstruction sudiku). I had a great time doing this !

Great puzzle! Quite challenging mid-solve, then gets easier again. Very well set!

@wildbush7

arrow's circle must be a valid number.and Arrow circles that are within a 3x3 box must be made using attached arrow cells at least once.

If there are numbers on an arrrow, must the associated circle have a valid number?

Apologies for the confusion, if there are digits on a line then that circle also needs to have a digit.

Awesome set.

very beautiful! Very narrow logic problem solving path. The difficulty of area division is in the upper area, which can only be finally determined once the reasoning of irregular Sudoku is passed. While it's hard to get to the end, the process of reasoning is well worth it.
