Normal sudoku rules apply. Digits cannot repeat along the indicated diagonals.

Within the grid are hidden 18 crust cells. The crusts are divided into two sets of 9 cells each. Each set contains one cell in every row, column, box, and indicated diagonal. Additionally, each set contains every digit from 1 through 9 exactly once.

Clues outside the grid give the sum of the digits sandwiched between the two crusts that appear in that row, column or diagonal.

Lovely concept, and whilst it felt like hard work for a relative novice, it’s achievable and massively rewarding!

Very crusty !
That was an elegant way of varying the flavour of the crust.
Savoured it until the last bit(e) !

Super fun puzzle. The logic flowed really smoothly, and the double disjoint set was a fun twist!

Very nice. Sandwich-clues are not my favourite, but very happy that I tried this! I liked that you couldn't do the "standard" what's-outside-the-sandwich-trick :-)

This link may be better on some computers:

It does not rely on "beta" version of SudokuPad. I've had similar issues with my links recently.
