Normal sudoku rules apply, sort of... Fill each 9-cell region with each of the digits 1-9 such that no row or column on a given face of the cube contains a repeated digit, including the shaded digits (which are not part of any region).
Thermometers: Digits along thermometers must increase from bulb to tip.
Solve online with Penpa+.
Solution code: The 2nd row of the left and right bottom faces, from left to right (12 digits, no spaces)

Wow!!! This took me a lot longer than I expected, but not due to any particularly difficult deductions, just the unconventional scanning. Thanks for a wonderful puzzle! I'm glad I conquered it, though I'm not sure if I would do it again lol

Wow, that scanning really terrorized my eyes at near the end but the puzzle overall was a nice and smooth one :)
