Rules:

Place the digits 1-9 into each cell in the grid so that each digit appears exactly once in each row, column and outlined region.

Digits on a given arrow must sum to the number in the attached circle.

EVERY cell should be a possible circled head of an arrow sum. (An arrow connects a sequence of distinct orthogonally or diagonally connected cells. Possible arrow examples for 3 cells: example F-puzzles link)

That was novel and really nice. Very tricky to get started, and then it flowed nicely, but came and fought back a bit in the end :-)

It took me a while to get used to the rule set, but it became very enjoyable once I did.

Personally I found it a lot more difficult than most 2 star puzzles, but still very enjoyable

Great ! As you said, making the grid bigger can hardly make the puzzle more difficult to solve as high digits aren't much contrained, but it must have made it quite more difficult to set :D Good job on that !
