Battle With The Archers 36 - Dual Puzzles: Directional Intuition
(Published on 24. September 2022, 11:27 by Playmaker6174)
This is the 36th puzzle of my
Battle With The Archers collection, or rather it's a dual puzzles that showcase an extension of arrow variant, which I would call
radar arrow variant. This actually acts rather as an extension of an already existed variant so it's kind of an exclusive thing of the series and it's pretty unlikely that I'll use this extension again in the future.
Anyway, both of these puzzles should lie on approachable side of 3/5 difficulty (feedback may be subjective in this case), I hope you enjoy!
Rules:
- Normal Sudoku rules apply: every row, column and 3x3 box contains digits from 1 to 9 each once.
- Digits along an arrow must sum to the digit in the circle cell attached to that arrow. Digits along an arrow can repeat if allowed by other rules.
- In addition, a digit at the tip of an arrow shows the number of cells along the direction of that arrow (starting from the first cell after the tip) containing digit that's EQUAL TO OR HIGHER THAN digit in the circle cell attached to that arrow.
An example can be found below:

Puzzle 2: Active

Good luck and have fun solving!
Solution code: Row 4 (left to right) of each grid in the order Passive - Active, 18 digits long with no space

Interesting concept which lended itself to some very enjoyable logic. I thought the second one was particularly superb. Thanks Playmaker :)
