Mind the Gaps

Normal sudoku rules apply.
If a row or column has a clue outside the grid, any pair of digits that sum to that number must have exactly X cells between them in that row or column, where X is the digit in the cell immediately adjacent to the clue.
The digit in the cell with a gray square must be even.

Very cool idea. Took a few minutes to get a feel for the constraint, but after that it flowed nicely.
