Rules: Normal sudoku rules apply.
Each clue outside the grid next to a row or column is either the sum of the even digits placed between the 1 and 9 in that row or column or the sum of the odd digits placed between the 2 and 8 in that row or column.
Ex: The sandwich clue for a row [ 3 5 1 2 7 9 6 8 ] could be 2 (since 2 is the only even number between the 1 and 9) or 16 (7+9 are the odd digits between the 2 and 8)

Great puzzle. It felt daunting at first, but there's a very neat progression and logic to it that flows quite well. Every little step brings you closer, and I had great fun uncovering the steps.
