Signature Sudoku
by Nell Gwyn
THE RULES:
- Normal Sudoku Rules (every row, column, and marked box must contain all the digits 1 to 9 once each).
- Some clues outside the grid are Sandwich clues (which give the sum of the digits sandwiched in between the 1 and the 9 in the indicated row or column), and some are X-Sum clues (which give the sum of the first X digits in the row or column from that direction, where X is the first digit in the row or column). Which clues are which must be deduced.
- In addition, all clues are encrypted. Each of the letters N, E, L, G, W, and Y represents a different digit from 0 to 9. Two-digit numbers are represented by two-letter clues (written left to right in base 10; tens digit cannot be a zero).
PLAY AT:
Solution code: Row four (left to right), then column eight (top to bottom), no spaces (e.g. 123456789123845679)
