Here is another Yin Yang hybrid with a ruleset inspired by X-sums. But the puzzle has very little to do with arithmetic - its main theme is to explore a slightly unusual type of Yin Ying logic which I found interesting. You will see what I mean if you attempt it. I hope you will enjoy!

@Agent, what a fantastic puzzle, as usual from your vault. Very hard for me but a very satisfying solve.

Great puzzle! I'm glad to have looked for some older puzzles to solve, because this is a real gem that I would have missed otherwise. Thank you

Great puzzle with an original break in for a yin yang. Loved the restrictions that came from this combination. One has to be somewhat familiar with yin yang logic to attempt this, otherwise it might be quite harder to solve.
-- Thank you @Christounet! I agree with you that prior experience with Yin Yang helps a lot for this puzzle.

@Al Fresco, thanks a lot for helping to locate my error! Then it went smoothly.
@Agent, this is a stunning puzzle, lots of fun! Thank you for setting.
Overall, it was not easy on the one hand but on the other there were no brutally hard logic bits per my view. Thus, I dare to suggest that difficulty might be closer to 4*. I know, it may sound very strange from me - a man that asked for a help to locate an error in his deductions :-0. But it's attributable to my stupidity, not the difficulty :) Maybe I'm wrong, just sharing my opinion..
-- Thank you @deltameth! I agree with you that no step is particularly difficult. I would probably rate it 4 stars as well, but I sort of knew that it would end up at 5 stars :p

Very nice! The first half was very beautiful but tricky for me and the resulting Sudoku was a nice reward! :^)
-- Thank you @DVFrank! Glad to hear that the sudoku went smoothly after the fairly challenging Yin Yang deductions, this is what I was looking for.
