Normal sudoku rules apply.
(Enter numbers from 1 to 9 into the grid, such that no digits appear twice in any row, column, and boxes)
Figure out what the lines mean, then solve the puzzle.
EDIT 1 : Added an example puzzle as a big hint, which can be viewed here.
Solution code: Row 7, then Row 1, with no spaces.

This basically solves like a riddle sudoku, where you first need to solve a riddle (about 3.5-4/5 difficulty to figure out the ruleset without the hint) then solve the sudoku with it (1/5 difficulty).
So overall i would say it's still a 3.5-4/5 puzzle since in this case you can't really start to use sudoku logic to solve the riddle.

But i recommend to give this one a try if you like riddles! It's a very clever one.

Nice puzzle, very original/inventive ruleset. Really like the challenge, didn't use the hint, but was part of a group solve. I do think this is above a 2 star for difficulty, simply because the ruleset has to be determined by the solver.

I can confidently say I never would've solved this without the hint, but it was a nice, smooth solve with that extra bit of help. It was fun to work a Sudoku that required some lateral thinking!

das hilft zwar etwas, aber mir bleibt die Regel für die gesamte Linie trotzdem unverständlich

@SKORP17, mir auch.

That had me racking my brain for a while, until I finally asked myself the right question, and then yeah, it was really easy. Pretty clever stuff, kudos!
I should say though that I DEFINITELY needed the little example, otherwise I would have never found it. Even though it's my first 'instructioneless', I think I know about this kind of puzzle that they always come with an example, no?

Very very Mystery ruleset. I don't understand this. :-(

@SKORP17
a) all lines work under the same rule
b) that is also part of the puzzle

bedeuten alle Linien dasselbe und was sollen die Kreise?
