Learn the Alphabet: M is for Marupeke

(Published on 24. August 2022, 18:30 by Crusader175)

My idea for this series is to make 26 puzzles with different constraint that start with each alphabet (A-Z).

Rules:

Normal sudoku rules apply. Within the white area, no more than two consecutive cells, either horizontally, vertically or diagonally, contain the same parity (odd/even).

Lol! I’ve never heard of a Marupeke puzzle before, and loved how it was very important at the start...but then I totally forgot about its importance (around the time I started working on the grey squares, I ended up treating like a normal odd/even puzzle), and was fretting about an unresolvable X-wing right at the very end. Luckily my brain snapped into gear and the Marupekeness of it all saved the day! I love puzzles that do that (have something important at the start that then becomes secondary, only to come in again at the end)!
