Normal sudoku rules apply.
Digits in a cage sum to the number in the top left corner of the cage.
The grey lines are palindromes (i.e., a grey line reads the same from both ends). Each grey line is also a thermometer, whose bulb is to be determined such that numbers strictly increase as they move away from the bulb.

The puzzle was nice, but I really struggled with understanding exactly what the rules about the palindrome/thermo lines meant. I agree that the information given is enough, but I just wasn't sure I interpreted it correctly.

If anyone else needs clarification (without just being given the answer):

Every line has at least one bulb.

Every bulb is a thermo starting point for every line segment leading away from it. (If the bulb is on the end point, only one segment. If the bulb is anywhere else, one in each direction.)

Every sequence of digits going away from a bulb must continue strictly increasing until the line completely ends in that direction.

I've been staring at this for 15 minutes and I don't understand the rules at all. Can the bulb appear anywhere on the line? Is this legal: 15951? What about 51915?

beautiful puzzle and setting with the palindrome / thermo combimation.

The clue is formulated well enough to understand :)

I enjoyed it. I didn't find it too hard when I figured out the break in, but I wasn't expecting it.
FWIW, I read it as bulb singular meaning that it must be in the middle
