- Normal sudoku rules apply.
- Odd/even: Cells with grey circles contain odd digits. Cells with grey squares contain even digits.
- Kropki: Cells connected by a white circle contain consecutive digits. Cells connected by a black circle contain digits with a 1:2 ratio. Not all possible circles are given.
- Diagonal: Digits along each indicated diagonal do not repeat.

Author's note:
The title is a somewhat complex pun related to the puzzle. You can try to figure it out as a bonus puzzle within the puzzle. :P I hope you enjoy(ed)!

For those who would like some hints on the title, some clues:

One noun refers to a number, the other noun refers to a person and their famous contribution to sudoku

And for the answer:

The Devil refers to sudoku setter Phistomephel and his famous "ring". Death refers to the number 4, which is pronounced similarly to the word "death" in Chinese and Japanese. The title as a whole refers to 4 not being inside the Phistomephel ring in this puzzle.
