Target Practice

(Published on 15. August 2022, 23:13 by zetamath)

Normal sudoku rules apply.

The clues in the grid are double arrow clues. The sum of the digits along a line is equal to the sum of the digits in the circles at either end of the line. Digits may repeat freely along a double arrow.

As an example, if the circles at the ends of a line contain 5 and 5, then the line connecting them may contain 145.

Wow. Loved that. Of all the puzzles I've solved on LMD so far, completing this has given me the most joy.

I don't have huge faith in my ability and was surprised that I spotted the logic in a couple of boxes to allow me to continue.

Thank you Zetamath.

Brilliant

@washyleopard: I second that. 18 digit solution codes strike me as a completely unnecessary pain in the lower back. I assume nobody around here would bother to cheat in the first place, but even if, nine digits already are more than enogh to prevent such attemps (not to say: even nine are already overkill).

I have an unreasonable hatred of typing in solution codes so I appreciate any time its only 9 digits. Very nice puzzle for its ease.
