Normal Sudoku rules apply. Cells separated by an X add to 10. Cells separated by a V add to 5. ALL X/V CLUES ARE GIVEN. Digits on a Thermometer must strictly increase from the bulb.
In the final grid, all Odd numbers form a single orthogonally-connected region, and cannot form a 2x2 area.
Solution code: Eighth row and Ninth column of puzzle (read top to bottom). Enter as a string of 18 digits, no spaces.

Very nice puzzle. I was stuck at one point for a while, noticed I had a deadly pattern and thought I broke it, then facepalmed when I realized I had forgotten about the negative constraint.

In your final logical step that collapses the puzzle, two neighboring cells do NOT follow one of the rules. As it was put in by design, I am reluctant to be any more specific than that (unless I must :) ). Please try to locate the anomaly. I think you'll enjoy it! ~Soupbase
I changed part of my strategy and it was easier to do. Also got the right solution this time. Thanks!
