Very enjoyable puzzle! Personally I found that it was always clear where to look and what to do next. I have always enjoyed arithmetic a lot, and I have done a lot of killers and kakuros, which I think helps a lot for this kind of puzzle. I do recognize Big Tigers feeling, though, from some other puzzles. Always frustrating to feel like one is «missing out» on something.

@Big Tiger: I don't think you have missed some logic here, it is mainly a matter of chiseling away some options in the critical areas. It may only be that some players do those investigations/ eliminations quicker than you (and me!). It's a matter of taste or definition if you call that chiseling elegant/smooth or brutal.
This one took me over an hour, and I even had the advantage of spotting the possible combinations in the middle area very quickly having set my own puzzle of this type earlier this week.

I see these comments about "so much fun" and "it unfolded nicely" ... At my skill level, it was BRUTAL. At times every new digit was a hard-earned victory.
But ... I made it. And without bifurcation and random guessing. Phew!
I'd be interested to see a video solve of this by someone who can find the more concrete logic than what I found, which involved a lot of slow chiseling away at my options.
@Big Tiger Thanks for sticking with it to the end, and well done for completing the puzzle! The OctoPuzzles website will hopefully soon support puzzle walkthroughs, but in the meantime feel free to message me on the CtC discord and I can take you through the intended solve path some time

Wow, that was calculating on the square inch!
Beautiful puzzle with well chosen lines and squares that I enjoyed very much!
Not to be nitpicking about tags, but I don't know if your full line of products is distinguishing enough to call this a new variant; purpl did a very similar type last year (Multiplarrows; 0007W1) and I added one of that kind to my Variants series this week (000ARF). Both puzzles solve complete different from yours BTW!
@Richard well I guess it's true what they say, there's nothing new under the sun! Thanks for the heads up, I'll go check those puzzles out

Fun puzzle. Don't mind working at this kind of production line.
