Love both the concept of the cages themselves, and the "deduce the clue" idea. Really fun puzzle.

Spoiler rule: The cage in the top left of each box contains the sum for the other killer cage in that box, when read as a two digit number. For example, the [2 4] in box 6 is indicating that the other cage adds to 24 (7+8+9)
