Brothers Grimm #9: Cat and Mouse in Partnership

A german whisper sudoku based on the German fairytale of the cat and mouse in partnership.

Rules:

1. Normal classic rules apply

Thick lines form German whispers. Adjacent digits on the german whisper lines have to be at least 5 apart.

2. The thin line is an "anti whisper", digits on it differ less than 5.

3. Black kropki dots mean the cells have a 2:1 ratio

4. White kropki dots mean the digits are consecutive

5. The Greater/Smaller than arrow points at the smaller of the two cells.

the story:

A cat and a mouse lived together, and as something to fall back on in winter, they buy a jar of fat and store it in the local church. After some time, the cat mentions that one of her relations has given birth, and she heads to the church. In truth, the cat grabs the jar and eats the top layer. This repeats two more times before the jar is empty. As winter arrives, the cat and mouse head to the church, finding the empty jar. The mouse realizes that the cat ate it all, and the cat responds by eating the mouse.

the final part is what the puzzle is based on, with the tail of the mouse still dangling from the cat's mouth.

Okay, the math teacher in me has seen this far too often: It's not an arrow pointed at the smaller number, it's an opening toward the larger number! lol
