- Normal sudoku rules apply

- Digits in cells connected by a yellow line must have a difference of 3 or more

- Digits in orthogonally adjacent blue cells not connected by a line must have a difference of 3 or less

- An inequality sign between two digits points to the lower one (the one in r7c5 means that r7c4 is lower than r7c6)

The whispers lines represents the national Ukrainian emblem. The whole puzzle was inspired by the recent events.

Congrats to this first of yours! It was quite hard to keep rule 3 in mind (for this I had to restart having found another solution), but anyway- capturing as always! Of course I would like to see your intended solving path.

P.S. Still I need help with the Masyun puzzle ... .

I agree quite strongly with @Kafkapharnaum with this sudoku. There we’re times where I felt lost, but at other times I was having a joy narrowing down the candidates of cells until big deductions were made, especially at the start. Gotta say though, this is really well done for a first puzzle, and the puzzle itself really does mirror the events at the time very well!

All in all, I enjoyed this puzzle, and I was surprised to see that it wasn’t a chaotic mess like most first-puzzles (for example, my first). It is clear that you improved substantially and quickly over these months, something of which you should be quite proud of.

That was a bold move attempting this one (and a nice surprise) ! :D I had a lot of fun setting it as there was a lot of exploration to do. Of course, it's a particular type, and the constraint of sticking to the theme wouldn't allow much latitude (which was welcome for a first puzzle!).
In fact, there is a way to solve it that is relatively clean (that I can send you if you like !), only it's hard to find it, and it's the "problem" with this puzzle I think. Even though I'm still very proud of it! :-)

Thank you very much ! I have certainly made progress as a setter since I did this one, but I also think the reason my next ones are overall "better" is that I found ideas/concepts that allowed the setting to be intuitive and the puzzles to be smoother.

I would like to see what idea you had in mind. How would you like to send it to me?

That was quite tough. Lots of tricky spots individually, but it also kind of requires to have a global view at all times (at least this is how it felt to me), as I felt it was really easy to miss some of the +/-/=3 adjacent cells...

It's quite clever though, and it's ultimately pretty satisfying to see that chaotic mess of pencilmarks getting progressively cleaned up. We can only hope that this is what'll happen in real life, as I'm sure you catch my meaning...

Very original. Really enjoyed the interaction between the different rules. Thank you!
