hi! i tried this but it was too hard. i wish i'd had the ability to check if the numbers i'd but had been correct, maybe then i'd know where i went wrong hahah. anyway, even though i couldn't do it, it was still a fun time spent with this!

This was a tough one, but I am under 100 puzzles remaining to complete the entire Will Power collection. Should be finished by the end of the month! As always, lovely setting (why else would I be working through all of your puzzles)

I'm pleased to have solved this, but I needed the hint provided by the author in the comments.

Revised proposed difficulty from 1 to 2 stars.

I worked on this for half an hour and got nowhere. A puzzle's difficulty is based on the hardest step, not the easiest.
@DiMono Make the whispers line with the 7 cage a minimum, starting from the center. Make the whispers line with the 13 cage a maximum, starting from the center. Only four minor adjustments need to be made to get a difference of 26. Thank you also for your comment. -Will Power

Thank you @Will for this nice puzzle, great interactions. It was quite hard for me, but it's a great satisfaction at last to have solved it.
@Chelo Did you find the pattern in the puzzle that the title suggests? If the pattern is not recognized, then I can see this puzzle is difficult. Once the pattern is known, I was afraid that most solvers would criticize that a difficulty rating above 1 star is too high. As always, I appreciate the feedback. The next few puzzles I have stored should reward you for your consistency and dedication. Thank you. -Will Power
