HELP FOX Sudoku X

(Published on 17. June 2022, 23:25 by Puzzle Farmer)

Many years ago this grid used to appear in a supplement magazine for a Saturday newspaper under the name Super Sudoku X. I’ve always fancied making a puzzle using this grid, so I settled on a numberless version with extended high, low, odd, even clues.

Rules

Place digits 1-8 in each row, column, 2x4 outlined box, 4x2 shaded box and both diagonals.
Letters indicate the type of number in that cell,

H is a high number (4)
E is an even number (4)
L is a low number (4)
P is a prime number (4)
F is a factor of 10 (3)
O is an odd number (4)
X is a power of 2. I.e. X=2n, where n is an integer (4)

Brackets indicate how many numbers are in each group.

Note. The Penpa+ version lists all possible numbers for each clue in the rules to clear up any confusion.

Solution code: Row 4
