Normal sudoku rules apply. Digits in cages add up to the little clue in the top left. Barring 5, every digit in the grid is at least 5 apart from its 180 degree (rotationally) symmetrical counterpart. (ie R8C6 is the symmetrical partner of R2C4)

I have no idea how the distant whisper works, wish you could give an example. Is the 180 degree symmetrical counterpart of R2C4 R2C6 or R8C6 or R8C4?
