Cauchy's Vengeance
(Published on 25. May 2022, 19:20 by Hrafnsvaengr)
This is an updated and revised version of my previous puzzle,
Cauchy's Revenge, with a few of the aspects of it I found less than elegant removed and updated to better show off what I was originally trying to do with the puzzle. Hopefully it's a pleasant update!
(The following description is copied wholesale from
Cauchy's Revenge)
It's nothing terribly out there, but I was pleased with the result for this, so I suppose it will be all right for a first-ever upload to here. Here's hoping it's not as painful as computing complex integrals without Cauchy's theorem that gives this puzzle its name, albeit obliquely.
A link for the puzzle on f-puzzles can be found
here and on CtC

- Normal sudoku rules apply.
- Digits along an arrow sum to the number in the attached bulb.
- The digits along the marked diagonals sum to the given number.
- Digits may not repeat within a cage; if the cage is marked, the digits within that cage sum to the given number.
Solution code: Row 2 followed by Row 8, from left-to-right, without commas or spaces.
