(Published on 8. May 2022, 17:17 by tallcat)
Having solved some fun Windoku puzzles in recent weeks, I decided to have a go at setting one myself. I this is a high 3/low 4 difficulty but erred on the higher side. Hope you enjoy!!
Normal Sudoku rules apply
Windoku: Digits cannot repeat in marked cages.
Sudoku X: The digits 1-9 must appear on each marked diagonal once only.
Between Lines: Cells along lines between two filled circles must have values between those in the circles.
Kropki Pairs: Cells separated by a black dot have a ratio of 1:2. Cells separated by a white dot are consecutive. Not all dots are given.
Can be played online at
f-puzzles or
CTC
Solution code: Column 7 (Top to bottom) and Row 6 (left to right). 18 digits, no spaces.

Very clever construction, some lovely interactions between the cages and the diagonals :)

Very fun puzzle ! A lot of rewarding "easy to spot" logical interactions. I loved how the deductions made you bounce from a window to another. Perfectly balanced for a relaxing solve ! A perfect illustration of your recently-released "how i set sudoku" ctc video !

Yes! I've done it second try. 24 minutes, but I've almost finished it once, so I knew where and how to look at it.

i tried for 40 minutes, just about to finish of and I made a mistake somewhere. No idea where, everything is broken. Not sure if I'll try from start yet. It is fun, that's for sure!
